Sour Cream Lemon Pie

A refreshing and simple summer pie recipe.

Cooking Time: 40 minutes

Cooking Tools:

  • Mixing bowl

  • 9” pie plate

  • Can opener

  • Mixer (we LOVE our Kitchen Aid)

Ingredients:

  • 1 - 9” graham cracker crust (see our recipe for graham cracker crust)

  • 4 large egg yolks

  • 14 ounce can of sweetened condensed milk

  • Zest of two lemons

  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice

  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit

  2. Beat egg yolks with your mixer

  3. Add sweetened condensed milk and mix again

  4. Add lemon zest, lemon juice, and sour cream and mix again

  5. Pour the mixture into your prepared graham cracker crust and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 25 minutes.

  6. Remove from oven and let cool, then place it in your fridge for at least two hours before serving.

  7. Serve with whip cream on top.
